Arpeggio Friday Roundup #21

One single, one album, one look BTS | 8.26.22

📻  Hey there, been awhile! 365 days to be precise…

The past few weeks I’ve been feeling called to bringing this newsletter back, and it just so happens that today marks a year to the date of the previous post.

So, since I never properly sunset Arpeggio, welcome back yous! Here’s a quick primer on what it’s all about.

The focus of Arpeggio is to provide fresh, curated music as well as data & analysis of the music biz. Curated music is important because, in a world increasingly dominated by streaming companies, there are artists who deserve the spotlight.

Friday Roundup is curated with one single, one album, and one behind the scenes look into a recording artist's creative process to listen to at your leisure over the weekend. The idea is to provide frontline music and a look inside the creative process with both artists and music enthusiasts in mind. You’ll receive a roundup every first Friday.

Introducing… by Aaron Frazer

Aaron Frazer’s voice might sound familiar to you as the drummer and vocalist for Durand Jones & The Indications.

Aaron’s voice is reminiscent of old soul legends like Al Green and Smokey Robinson.

He got a call from Dan Auerbach from the Black Keys, personally asking him to record this solo album. More on that below…
