Arpeggio Friday Roundup #23
One single, one album, one look BTS | 11.4.22
The focus of Arpeggio is to provide fresh, curated music as well as data & analysis of the music biz. Curated music is important because, in a world increasingly dominated by streaming companies, there are artists who deserve the spotlight.
Friday Roundup is curated with one single, one album, and one behind the scenes look into a recording artist's creative process to listen to at your leisure over the weekend. The idea is to provide frontline music and a look inside the creative process with both artists and music enthusiasts in mind. You’ll receive a roundup every first Friday.
A couple weeks ago I found myself in a desert valley underneath thousands of stars. I can confidently say it was one of the best weekends of my life, thanks to this short retreat in Rodeo, New Mexico, with both old & new friends who all shared a common love for music, and “just enough” meticulous planning by our friend Cam Dukes.
CAMPDUKES II is a perfectly engineered music experience and a gravitational force that brings us all together. A space and time to disconnect from the outside world to reconnect with ourselves. It’s a return to form, a short period of time where we can enjoy a few of the simple things that transcend time and culture; community, nature, and an atmosphere of good music.
Favorite songs from the weekend were: “Mutante” by Rita Lee (Gui Boratto Rework) & “Her” by Majid Jordan.

Now, onto this months music roundup…
“Billie Toppy” and “Girl” by Men I Trust
Classic Mix Vol. 1 by Rita Lee & Roberto
BTS with Brian Eno, Fred Again
